Hi everyone,
We’re writing today to deliver some difficult news. KTF is closing down. But our work will continue in new forms.
Tomorrow morning, we will publish a final podcast episode where we talk more about this decision, reflect on the last five years, and share about how we will continue seeking Jesus and resisting injustice in our future work.
Speaking of next steps, Jonathan’s new book, Beauty and Resistance: Spiritual Rhythms for Formation and Repair is available for preorder and comes out in November! You can also check out his new newsletter, The Crux on Substack.
Sy will have a new newsletter too that he will add you to if you’re on this list. And he’s working on expanding his freelance work in writing, editing, and podcasting, as well as writing tutoring and admissions essay help for students. You can find all that at syhoekstra.com.
KTF’s articles, newsletters, and podcasts will remain available, and the paywall will come down. Tamice’s book will stay up as well. We’re working on a way to keep the anthology up too.
For paid subscribers, your subscription should be deactivated tomorrow. If you recently made an annual subscription payment, let us know and we can send a refund.
Thank you all so much for the time you put into paying attention to and processing our work, and participating in this community. You encouraged and honored us. And special thanks to our paid subscribers. We couldn’t have done this without you!
To everything there is a season. KTF’s season is ending, but our race continues.
With gratitude,
Jonathan and Sy
Sorry to see this end, but so grateful for all you’ve shared over the last 5 years! Thank you and God bless!
Thank you Sy and Jonathan for your dedication and work to helping us process through these past 5 years with a grounded, centered, thoughtful, and hospitable approach. You've truly encouraged me and others to keep the faith. Grateful for all that you have shared with us. Many blessings to y'all in the future.
